Walking for Walker
Mrs. Evans has asked they we support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and her son, Walker, by making a donation online to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation : www.cff.org/greatstrides, click on "find a walker", and enter" Emily Evans." All donations support efforts to cure Cystic Fibrosis. Mrs. Evans will be running on April 18 in Great Strides event at Central Middle School on Saturday.

Teacher of the Year!
Jill White is the 2012 - 13 Wilson Elementary Teacher of the year. We would like to thank Ms. White for her hard work and dedication to the students of our school. Congratulations!

New State Law Effects Kindergarten and K Readiness

New entrance age for kindergarten - State law states Kindergarten child must be age 5 before August 31, 2013. This is one month earlier than last year.Kindergarten Pre-Registration will be May 6 - May 10

K Readiness

Beginning this year, K Readiness class will only accept June, July, or August birthdays. K Readiness Meeting is May 16 at 6:30 in the Library.

Raptor is here!
Wilson Elementary has installed the Raptor ID system in the office. Parents will to need show their driver's license when signing in to the school. This program is designed to provide more security on our campus.

Yearbooks are Sold out!

The 2012 -13 yearbooks are sold out.
We would like to thank our yearbook staff, Caren Davis and Laurie Kincaid for their hard work and dedication to the students of Wilson Elementary. We are thrilled with this year's annual and know this will be something our students will enjoy looking back over for many years to come.

Dear Parents,

It is unbelievable how quickly the end of the year is approaching. We still have many exciting activities planned for the last month of school. Our Boosterthon fun runwas on May 8. We had great participation by our students, teachers, and parents. This years' theme was "On the road to good choices". The kids enjoy the activities of the Boosterthon gang as they help us raise funds that will help our school. The last turn in day for pledges is on May 15. Thanks again for all your help in making this a successful Boosterthon.
